Ang Hart is a multifaceted artist, psychologist, and passionate advocate for social change, residing in the picturesque Hilltops region of NSW. She maintains a deep connection to the vibrant mining towns of Cobar in New South Wales and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (her hometown).

AngHart holds a Master of Creative Industries (MCI) with a focus on interdisciplinary visual arts practice. Her latest research “Rising from the Dust: (in)visible Women in Mining” explores sexual harassment issues women face in the mining industry depicted by 12 portraits and accompanying thesis.  

With a passion for unleashing creativity, Ang Hart has successfully facilitated workshops tailored for diverse age groups, from children to seniors, infusing her unique and quirky personality and artistic style. Leveraging her expertise as an artist and psychologist (Angela Webb AHPRA PSY0001711256), Ang creates engaging and transformative experiences that inspire participants to explore their creativity, express themselves, and connect with others on a deeper emotional level. “Go on, go on and create” is her mantra.

Through her dynamic and inclusive workshops, Ang fosters a supportive environment where individuals can discover their artistic voice, embrace new perspectives, and embark on a journey of personal growth and self-discovery.

Ang’s artivism has been impacted by the Guerilla Girls and Australia’s own Knitting Nanas and Rory Banwell. Artists including Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Ross, Louise Bourgeois, Del Kathryn Barton, and Frida Kahlo have influenced Ang’s art journey. Texts from Brené Brown, Cixous (1976), Bell Hooks and Virginia Woolfe grace Ang’s bookshelves and inspire her research and creative practice. Mention must be made of Picasso, Jackson Pollock, David Bromley and Mark Rothko for their influence of Ang’s ever curious artistic style.
